When the mechanics take over in my body, everything accelerates, cuts out, the insignificant noises get louder and louder, worse and worse. It's a circle, an infinite loop. Jerky breathing, hammered visual perception : the construction site resurfaces. Everything goes very fast, too fast, but at the same time, I take the time to look, to see everything.
